About the Founder

Cathy Francois's career began in advertising sales and customer service before moving into higher education, ultimately leading to her transition into career development. Her experience as a certified career coach ranges from assisting those early in their careers to transitioning experienced professionals, including entrepreneurs in today's ever-changing and competitive market. Her passion for helping people succeed inspired her to expand into independent career consulting by launching Rezume (pronounced re-ZOOM) Forward in 2012. She leverages her diverse work experience and interpersonal skills to bring a personalized approach to career coaching. Cathy uses a creative approach to produce résumé and LinkedIn profiles that bring her clients' unique career stories to life.

Cathy is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator based in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan area serving clients globally. She is also the Assistant Director of Career Programming and Adjunct Instructor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, conference speaker, workshop facilitator, and content writer with works featured on CareerConnection.UMGC.edu, OnlineCareerTips.com, and CareersinGovernment.com. She is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and has a Master's in Business Administration from Purdue University Global.
